Jason West thought that the peninsula between Weymouth harbour and beach could be developed to be both beautiful and useful for the local community. So he invited a great architect and a respected sustainable developer to help the town. Unfortunately, despite a number of meetings and the firm offer that £150m could be raised and would provide a long-term income for the council, the council decided to go in another direction. This spurred Jason and his friend Baron Miles to start to build a network to disseminate positive ideas that, from the floor up, could change Weymouth & Portland for the better.
